My Samsung DLP has only one HDMI input, and now I need a second for an HP media center PC. I was just curious if there is any signal degradation when using an HDMI switch ? My thought is that there should be no signal degradation if the signal is pure digital, which can't be said for analog signals. And the EDID standard is so baked-in to modern video formats that it’s kind of hard for things to go wrong.
